Trusted chiropractic care for Chapel Hill
About 19 minutes (12 miles) from our South Durham office
A short, easy drive from Chapel Hill
Chapel Hill sits about 12 miles west of our office, and the route is one of the more predictable trips in the Triangle. From the Franklin Street area, Southern Village, or Meadowmont, take NC-54 or US-15-501 to I-40, then head east to the Fayetteville Road exit near The Streets at Southpoint. We’re at 7011 Fayetteville Road, Suite 106, with free parking right at the door — a welcome change from circling downtown for a meter. Most patients make the drive in under 20 minutes outside of rush hour, which makes fitting chiropractic care for adults around work or class realistic.
Care built for a university town
Chapel Hill is a town of students, faculty, UNC Hospitals staff, and active retirees, and those lives put specific strains on the body. Hours hunched over a laptop in Davis Library or at a research bench feed neck pain and poor posture and tension headaches. Long shifts on hospital floors and long commutes into the RTP corridor are hard on the lower back and can flare sciatica. And in a place where people run the trails, cycle around campus, and stay genuinely active, overuse injuries are part of the territory. We see these patterns every week, so we look for the cause rather than just chasing the symptom.
How our team helps
We’re a five-chiropractor practice led by founder Dr. Kevin McLaughlin, who has served the Triangle since 2012. For active Chapel Hill patients, that usually means pairing hands-on adjustments with soft-tissue work like Active Release Technique or dry needling, then backing it with a clear physiotherapy and corrective-exercise plan so the problem stays fixed. When a disc or nerve issue calls for something gentler, we offer non-surgical spinal decompression therapy. And because our focus is sports and wellness, athletes — from weekend runners to competitive players — find a team that understands how they move. Ready to start? Book an appointment online, learn what to expect as a new patient, or contact us with any questions.

Local, trusted care
Why Chapel Hill chooses Complete Chiropractic Sports & Wellness
Chapel Hill runs on its people — UNC students and faculty, the clinicians and staff at UNC Hospitals, and active retirees who hike, cycle, and stay on their feet. We build care plans around that life rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule, and we're upfront about how many visits a problem should realistically take.
The drive is genuinely short. Our office is just off I-40 at the Fayetteville Road exit, by The Streets at Southpoint — roughly 12 miles east of Franklin Street. Many Chapel Hill patients fit an appointment in around work in the RTP corridor or a Southpoint errand without crossing town twice.
We're a five-chiropractor team led by founder Dr. Kevin McLaughlin, who opened the practice in 2012 and has called the Triangle home ever since. That depth means we can match you to the right clinician and the right technique instead of forcing every back, neck, or shoulder into the same adjustment.
Our focus is sports and wellness, which fits an active university town well — we combine hands-on chiropractic with soft-tissue work and a clear corrective-exercise plan, and we tell you honestly when a problem needs imaging, a specialist, or your physician instead.
